We are lucky to have some fantastic local produce to work with and we are delighted to hold VisitScotland's Taste our Best award. We aim to use as many locally produced ingredients as we can and where possible we use fruit, herbs and vegetables from our garden and eggs from our hens. We make our own bread, cakes, shortbread, jams, marmalade and chutneys. In the afternoons we offer tea or coffee and home baking in the sitting room.
There is a good range of eating out options in nearby Helmsdale and Brora, alternatively we also offer a selection of light suppers which can be pre-booked. We do not have an alcohol licence but you are very welcome to bring your own alcohol, there is no corkage charge. We can also provide tasty packed lunches on request.
