We are lucky to have some fantastic local produce to work with and we aim to use as many locally produced ingredients as we can and where possible we use fruit, herbs and vegetables from our garden and eggs from our hens. We make our own bread, cakes, shortbread, jams, marmalade and chutneys. In the afternoons we offer tea or coffee and home baking in the sitting room. The quality and provenance of our food has been recognised by a VisitScotland 'Taste our Best' award.
There is a good range of eating out options in nearby Helmsdale and Brora, alternatively you are welcome to bring a carry out back to the house. We do not have an alcohol licence but you are very welcome to bring your own alcohol, there is no corkage charge. We can also provide tasty packed lunches on request.
