A very warm welcome to Culgower House, between Brora and Helmsdale on the scenic coast of East Sutherland in the north Highlands of Scotland.  An ideal base from which to explore the north Highlands or from which to tour the North Coast 500.

Self-catering exclusive use is occasionally offered between May and September on a weekly basis.

house - Culgower House is a Victorian farmhouse, built around 1850, set in its own grounds, with hills behind, glorious views out over the Moray Firth and beaches within walking distance. A beautifully refurbished family home with local textiles, original art and a mix of antique and contemporary furniture. A tranquil, rural, Highland home from which to experience the warm welcome and generous hospitality of the North Highlands. We welcome assistance dogs, but are unable to accommodate pets.

your hosts - We returned to the highlands in 2003 and have had great fun, and a few tears of frustration, restoring the house and garden. We look forward to welcoming you to our home and sharing with you the wonders of this very special part of the Scottish Highlands.
